Remember this era well, slim with long hair, cool time ,cool band and cool music.
Now, i'm a couple of pounds heavier, lost a lot of that long hair and as for the music today....well!
The good part is, i'm still listening to great guitarists, mostly from yesteryear. When i look in the mirror i can't see the bald patch on the back of my head and although i'm not cool, i still think i am. Rock on brothers and sisters!

Eric Clapton's soloing during the entire farewell concert is just amazing. I know he is not God, but maybe just for this show God jumped in his body and played. The mastery and intensity he played with at this show for as great as he is you'd be hard pressed to find tape where he matched this performance !

una gran banda compuesta por grandes musicos... ojala volvieran esos tiempos donde la vida era bella y la marihuana barata jajaj no la verdad esta es la musica que se disfruta y se entiende.. translation: a great band formed by great musicians... I wish those times came back when life was worth living and marihuana was cheap hahaha.. really this music enjoyable and comprehensable. thankyou

Clapton admited in an interview that in 67' he was shocked about Hendrix style.Untile than he had no competitor.Untile then he was the God and he still is.Watch Layla or Cocaine.On the Rolling Stones list, he must be not on the 4th place but the second after Jimi.

you cant say that anyone is the best. they are all the best in their own ways. look for rory gallagher and johnny winter. they are all great but they got other styles.
