yes it was in hot fuzz.its the part wduring the "save the church" funfair of sorts and the reporter guys head got crushed by the falling stone. (this song was not in the soundtrack though) the village green society was also in it too in the early part when Angel just arrived at the town and went for his morning jog.(this was in the soundtrack)

the earlier part where he was jogging was village preservation society.what i meant was that village green was during the church-stone-falls-on-reporter-head scene. its just that it wasnt on the soundtrack. if you dont believe me then why is everyone talking about hearing this on hotfuzz???

What a great song. Was expecting the Village Green Pres. Society, so this was a very pleasant surprise. The Kinks sound so modern. They also sound very English - rakish and charming.
