Theres a reason why nadal won wimbledon and im not saying that he dosent deserve it 1.Serve and volley type players are no were to be found and if you see many players that have won wimbledon were S
V players (sampras, goran mcenroe borg) 2. The speed of the wimbledon courts have slowed down before it use to be the fastest surface now its almost as slow as clay courts which favours nadals type of game (baseline rallies and power play) to a point were serve and volleying is impossible

yes, its pathetic that they don't have lights. but im still haunted by federer having what was essentially a championship point, a break point to go to 5-3 in the 5th. but considering federer became completely spineless whenever a break point appeared, maybe he wasnt that close to it. anyway its a travesty that the biggest tournament in the world was decided by playing conditions. i too would say exactly that in defence of rafa if roger had won

its slower, but i don't thing its as close to clay as ur saying. I think the softness of the court is what really helps nadal (same with clay*) as opposed to hard courts, which have given him some serious knee issues *not saying this is why he wins on either surface, just helps

aww, I almost cried at the end of the final because he looked so sad. As much as I love him, I don't think he just have used the darkness excuse because nadal was playing in the same conditions. I hope he gets in next year and avenges his loss.
