you idiot, i pay child support , im referring to a mother who is sitting in jail at this moment for child support , she loves her 3 kids , but her fucking deadbeat husband got custody due to the corrupt family court system , he is a drunk and an abuser , she should have the kids ,but the facts remain he has more money because he lives with friends and pays no rent !! the dead beat sued her for childsupport !! he should be in jail for the abuse !! but in the courts eye , non payment is priority!

What about deadbeat MOMS. My husband and I are raising his daughter. His ex (His daughters biological MOTHER) doesn't want anything to do with her now 13 year old daughter. It is really sad to see what this mom has and continues to do mentally to her daughter. Her mother is currently $6500 behind in child support, and she just got the support lowered with no argument from my husband, and she still won't pay. Oh, she moved out of state too. What a winner.

DUDE, good for you.. try paying $1000.00 a month, i have to work so much i cant even see my kids much at all BECAUSE I HAVE TO WORK AND JUST GET BY. my almost 4 year old daughter i havent seen in almost 2 years because her mother moved to OHIO. And she lies all the time and won't send her to me over the summer. I dont have enough money to get a lawyer to get visitaion. Just my thought. There is no denying that you are a good man. Unfortunately every divorce and custody battle is different and even more unfortunately the court system is unfairly stacked against the average male. If he is not rich, he has little or no chance of being a part of his own children's lives. Until the system changes and recognizes that custody should be 50/50 and no child support should be provided either way, most of the "deadbeats" will continue to run. Most divorced fathers pay, unfairly.

You have it backwards. You're confusing cause and effect. Fathers that are allowed to have more contact with their children are more likely to pay child support. Additionally those children have better GPA's, fewer behavioral problems, and graduate school at higher rates. The problem is there's no teeth in visitation laws in the same way that there is in child support laws.

I think I'll pass on the ass kissing. But if you really want to fix the child support system. Then you'll push for a flat 10% of the father's actual (not expected or fabricated) income. Anything more is extortion. If you actually want to fix the broken system, then you'll push for past-due forgiveness, so fathers aren't busting their asses for the rest of their lives trying to pay off an unfair debt. If you actually want to fix the broken system, you'll push for enforced visitation for fathers.
