Well watch me do it on the video above! Breathe in through the nose while blowing out the mouth. Your lungs are not involved in the mouth part; breathe air in through your nose (using your lungs) and blow air out of your mouth (using muscles in your cheeks and face...)

Oh, 2 years or so now. Its easiest for me on the soprano coupled with clarinet. I like that the mouthpieces are small and I can really get my mouth around them.
