Pop is popular, IT IS NOT A SPECIFIC GENRE.THE ORIGINAL TERM WAS IN ENGLAND TECHNO NEWAVE , AND AFTER ABBREVIATED LIKE TECHNO AND AFTER SPANISH PEOPLE INVENTED THE TERM TECHNO POP, IT IS NOT OFFICIAL. This song is to me like the "Beach Boys" is to my parents. This is such a classic...Vince Clarke is a great writer! David Gahan's baritone is fantastic. I actually got to see them in concert after the "Personal Jesus" disc (I don't recall the the title of the CD.) THANK YOU!
