EDIT: I said Serena had been knocked out by Maria Sharapova, but I got mixed up. She was actually knocked out in 2005 by Jill Craybas, who Venus did defeat in the next round. After which she advanced to Sharapova in the semi-finals, then to Davenport in the final match. (^_^)

I love Venus's determination and fierce competition while playing. I really look up to her a lot. She also has the fastest serve ever recorded by a female tennis player: 129 mph. (^_^) I like Serena too, but when times come up where they are playing against each other, like this year's Wimbledon final...I go with Venus (^_^) So you favor Serena?

Have you watched some of their other matches? In yesterday's match, Serena started out strong. Serena has beat Venus a few times for the Wimbledon title (^_^)

I sure have, and i am aware of that. I'm just saying that i dont see the same fire out of Serena when she plays Venus... With others she's "attack, attack,attaaaack" but with Venus she's just "Attack.". lol

I think it's because Venus is her older sister. She's probably looked up to her a lot growing up and, having Venus be at the top of her game so frequently these past few years, and Serena having to sit out a lot because of injury, I'm sure she has a bit of catching up to do, but she's getting there again (^_^)

I completely agree that one of the traits that makes them so amazing, is their varied interests! I think that's fantastic that their lives aren't consumed by tennis and they are able to have their own lives, and pursue their other talents and passions. I think they're less likely to burn out by focusing on other things. They truly are remarkable, and every time they step on court, I remain more and more in awe of each of them. They've grown into phenomenal indididuals on and off the court.

I love your enthusiasm for the sport of tennis and of course I see you are a Venus Williams fan. I really love both the William sister's but Venus is my favorite. That was one of the all time best matches played back in 2005! So I will be checking back to see what else you have to add. Thanks for this video. Serena Williams lost to Jill Crybas and Venus beat Crybas. Serena was injured much of the 2005 season and shouldn't have played in 2005.

Venus won! I randomly remembered this was the first video i watched of urs and the i liked you and subscribed Now 5 months on venus is the end of season champion and effectively the best player this year and im still subscribed. So everyone's happy!
