this drill can be much more efficient with much more repetition if you eliminate the ball into the setter. The goal is for the movement of the blokers. Start with 3 middles, each taking turns closing into the left and right sides alternately. You may have a target holding a ball above the net for a target.

this does block cross hits well, but to me it seems like they left line open. It looks like they left a foot or so on the side. so how is it effective if ur opponent can hit line all day long?

Well you will never be able to "protect" all the field from the attacker. You can just protect a certain sector. So if you block cross, line will be open, if you block line, cross will be open...but your defenders can adjust and defend the remaining space...and hitting line is more diffecult and needs a more exact setting than cross hitting ;)

I definitely still hit angle around a double block. Really, penetration is the best defense against an angle. Outside blocker should take line, and both of them should just push has hard as they possibly can.

question? When ever i drift to a side from middle position to block, my momentum always makes me bump into the outsider blocker. How can i correct this?

well, what your doing is swing blocking. this is when your turn sideways, take an approach, plant your feet, and use the momentum upwards to make an outside block. what you're doing wrong, is your not properly planting your feet before u jump, resulting in your momentum pushing u to the side. be careful when this happens - u could hurt either yours or the outside's ankle's very easily by landing on them wrong =(. hope this helps

outside foot 90 degrees on line jump up. Never drift leave hole if you are too late, rely on your defence. Arms inside shoulders, unless you are 2m15

when u play u have to ALWAYS make sure u jump straight u. and u also have to scream " HELP" if u don't think that u alone can get it, other wise practise jumping striaght up and hit the wall, high 5 a friend, or just reach up and go straight up....
does that help? or make any sence?

man all you got to do on the jump serve is, make sure you get a good toss, good ball to hand connection( a little higher than normal hitting, like a pipe ball) and make sure to snap your wrist so it will put spin on it, practice a lot and you will get it
