saw it this afternoon at the Angelika in NYC f*ckin' genius. i always liked JCVD, and here he's let it all hang out. pretty daring, funny, good tight flick and at times truly moving.

In fact you must be french to really understand what's going on in this teaser. There is some references to his french interviews he did in France. And these english subtitles aren't very good.

Dude, this IS hilarious! JCVD and all the xtras playing this scene deadpan straight... cannes would've lapped it up. This is a CANNES promo, not a GR promo... roll with it. Seriously wish i was french so's i'd heard all the interviews dawsondu77 mentioned,,, bugger!

I was a Van Damme fan for years, grew up watching his movies, idolized him!!!! My mother was sick of hearing his name! He went 2 years without starring in a film betwen 1999 with Inferno/Desert Heat - and 2001 and I couldnt wait to see him on screen again. But i was a bit disapointed with Replicant. He could have done better. I've not actually seen any of the films he has made since In Hell. I'll definately watch this at cinema and buy the dvd
