| The guidelines from the society of obstetricians and gynecologist are that the standard for breech deliveries is c-section. There was a study re:breech vaginal birth vs c-section but the outcomes were so poor for breech vaginal deliveries that the study was abandoned as thus the recommendation that all breech babies be born by c-section. |

| If you are referring to the Hannah Breech Trial, that study has been discredited d/t poor methodological standards, including such actions as including data from infants who were already known to have died prior to birth in the breech vaginal birth outcomes category. |

| Actually, the SOGC has just approved new guidelines that will offer choices to women who want the option of vaginal birth when their baby is breech. The new breech guideline will be published in the fall in the JOG. |

| YES you can have a vaginal breech birth! I went into labour and discovered my bub was breech and after finding out my pelvis was adequate i was able to give birth naturally! |

| I guess i should have mentioned that i'm in Australia and my son is now 13 so it was a long time ago. But there was never any talk about caesarean being an option, i guess i was lucky in that respect. Yes it was in a hospital. |

| Hi! I'm 36w pregnant and having a breech baby. I need to decide weather i'm gonna have a c-section or go for a breech delivery. I really don't want a c-section but i'm very affraid i would hurt the baby if i decided to deliver naturally, especially since this is my first pregnancy.
