in his first blockbuster, Kalathur Kannamma and since then he has acted in over two hundred Indian films. Kamal Haasan has acted in several various character roles winning four Indian National Film Awards for his criticallly acclaimed acting. An accomplished dramatic actor and celebrity, he receiv
ed India's third highest civilian honour, the Padma Shri for his services to Indian cinema in 1990. Kamal Haasan performs predominantly in leading roles in high-budget and major studio films, ranging from romantic comedies and drama to action thrillers. His most popular films include Moondram Pirai
(1982), Saagara Sangamam (1983), Nayagan (1987), Indian (1996) and Hey Ram (2000). However in 2007, Kamal Haasan has attempted to portray ten different characters in his upcoming project, Dasavatharam, therefore making the attempt a possible World Record.

I'm sure he can take criticisms better than his idiotic fan-base (goes for Rajinikanth's, Vijay's and other Tamil hero fan bases too). He's no Albert Schweitzer, Norman Borlaug, or Dr. Kotnis who are genuine heroes who have touched and helped improve human lives without posing as one on the silver screen.

First, you absolutely missed the point of my statement. I was inferring to his profession, which is basically a job where you pretend to be someone else. I'd rather reserve accolades for people who have contributed more substantially to society. For the record, Dasavatharam was a 3 hr long piece of his pathetic record-hunting, show-boating, masquerading as an insight on chaos-theory. He has had great performances in the past in movies "Raja Parvai" or "Moondram Pirai", but in recent times he has embarked on a self-serving agenda, displayed quite obviously in his movies. Go chomp on that piece of criticism, fanboy! If that doesn't satisfy you, ask your "god" to unzip his pants and then suck on it till kingdom come.

To me, he isn't god. You got a problem with that? As for him being a good human; what has he done that defines him as one? IF the Tamil brahmin angst against his constant portrayals in his movies as they being a vile group (as if they don't hear that in real life) IS TRUE, then all I have to say is that he epitomizes a bully who is picking on the weakest and least-united communities in Tamil Nadu. Granted that many of them are annoying traditional, but do you recall any riots or bombings instigated by them? Many Dalits died in the 1995 riots in Dindigul at the hands of Thevars, and yet he doesn't miss a chance to wax THEIR dolphins. The above is a reply to the fact "IF" his portrayals of T-B's are true.
