| Night of Power (lailatul qadr) is the proper translation instead of night of evaluation. Although the Night of Power includes the evaluation of all the deeds of the previous year and the destiny of the next year, it is but a mere aspect of it not the entirety. I don't trust the qur'anic translations/interpretation from Pakistan. Please refer to the tafseer printed in Saudi Arabia; it's nearer to the precise meaning in arabic. T.Y. |
