I live in Thousand Oaks and this was filmed at 3:00 pm on Tuesday October 23rd. It may look like a sunset, but trust me... the sun was far from setting. We've got ashes raining and it's really nasty out. I've got a bad cough and everything smells like camp fire, but we're all ok in Thousand Oak
s. I brought my animals inside, out of the smoke. We are in the middle of some of the biggest fires, but it doesn't look like it'll come our way. Let's cross our fingers.

Hey dude - I live in T.O. too! It's a nice place. Not like LA...I used to live in the apartments near the surgical hospital...just South of the 101 off of Moorpark road. Great area.

wow, i remember that fire. about 4, 5 years back, in the Inland Empire, same thing happened. I was just as close to the fire you were in last year. Its great that during that time, you did alright =]

yeah it was brutal trying to get to valencia, all the highways were closed,every damn one and traffic was horrible! We had to go around the fire by angeles national forest, soledad area, lancaster, santa clarita though there, what a day!
