Nadal Wins 2007 French Open

Video Description:
Rafael Nadal won his third straight French Open title Sunday by defeating the world's number one player, Roger Federer 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, 6-4. "I am very happy," Nadal said during the trophy ceremony. "But I am really sad for Roger. He is a friend and I know he is a great champion, whether he wins or loses."
Federer had sought to complete the career grand slam as he has won Wimbledon four times and the U.S. Open and Australian Open three times each, all since 2003.
"Of course I'm a bit sad, a bit disappointed," Federer said. "I hope to one day win it."
The second-ranked Nadal, still only 21 years old, became the second man since 1914 to win the tournament 3 years in a row.
"It's a dream for me," Nadal said. "I worked very hard to be the best."
With the win, Nadal improved his clay surface record to an undefeated 34-0 in best of 5 set matches.
