After all the LSD Brain Wilson took, one would have expected him to be more honest instead of doing this phony, silly crap for the plastic Hollywood music business machine. Maybe they were too wasted to care. I saw Brian perform GV a few years ago and he was absolutely brilliant, but this is hor
rible.
In the UK, the top tv music show was 'Top of the Pops'. It was never truly 'live'. Did anybody care? No. Would it have been more 'honest' to do perfect synching and 'pretend'? Incidentally, the idea that drugs make you 'honest' is a joke in itself. They just f*** you up. In Brian's case, they all but destroyed his fantastic artistic judgment and damaged him forever.
