The Trailer for The Texas Chainsaw Movie (2003 version), starring Jessica Biel, R Lee Ermey, Jonathan Tucker, Erica Leerhsen, Mike Vogel and Eric Balfour.
I already saw some versions of this trailer here on YouTube, but they were shorter and showed less footage of the movie, so I posted this one. (This trailer comes from the Apple Trailers website, and is not made by me) The songs played at the beginning is called 'Song to the Siren' originally by
Jeff/Tim (thanks PinkCloud37) Buckley, but most famously covered by a 1980's goth band named "This Mortal Coil", but the version in this trailer was recorded by a girl from a band called "Moneypenny"/Synchronic Music in the WB studio and isn't available for download anywhere, nor has it been release
d on CD. The song at the end of the trailer (01:46) is called "Signal to Noise" by Peter Gabriel, from the Gangs of New York OST, but it's a remade version for this movie... The story was based on a man called "Ed Gein" but he didn't use a chainsaw. The cannibalistic familiy depicted here never ex

Yup, it was Ed Gein. From Wisconsin. Very sadistic, one of the most complex of serial killers. The movie Psycho was based on him and the characters Buffalo Bill and Hannibal Lector in the Silence of the Lambs films were depicted from Geins' personality.

the original movie is really well done, and this remake is one of the best horror movie remakes i have ever seen
i haven't seen the other older movies, but from reviews i read they seemed to decline in quality. however, you can't believe everything you read so you'll just have to see them for yourself. I haven't seen the remade prequel, but from what I hear its really good also, so I recommend you see all o

you think THIS is scary, wait till you hear what it was inspired by! To avoid time loss (because time is important!) its based on a farmer who decorated his house with human body parts, made furniture out of people, and wore clothes made out of of people, and really wore a leather face!!! (made out of people) Also he had a jar of "lady parts" to keep him company.

Well actually, that's the popular misconception. The whole story of the texas chainsaw massacre is completly ficticious apart from leatherface who is loosely based on Ed Gein who actually did kill people and wear there faces. however, he never actually used a chainsaw.
