And of course English media won't work with a German or Dutch media reader, and vise-versa. OK, so it's not a perfect medium. Hahaha XD

Haha, easy now, don't read too much into it. I'm implying that in the future computers will be as basic as books, our descendants will have far more sophisticated systems, and will be using computers as the vehicle for the joke here.
