The first clip is from a BBC music programme from the '80s "Riverside" -I also remember Bauhaus and Thomas Dolby putting in good performances on this show, also. It was so weird seeing Sylvian, the "prince of synth-pop" strumming an acoustic guitar - this was SO not the done thing on '80s music TV! -but of course, Sylvian carried it off.
