No, they were from Dayton, Ohio. So were Zapp and Roger and also the Gap Band. We just like good funky music and blues down here! Back in the days, I had 2 uncles who liked to play "DJ" and they had it going on in the "80's! So, Im only 35, but I am an "80's baby fa sho!

Do you dig the 70's music..........Switch,Ohio Players, etc. Its seems like more ppl our age is reaching back to the classic stuff. I've enjoyed classic music since I can remember. I live here in St. louis and most of the ppl my age love nelly. Its just hard to find music that means something and makes you feel good at the same time. Nothing against newskool.

Oh yeah, hijkl12! Love it to death! My mom and her brothers and sisters really loved music and we would have to get up and clean the house on Saturday listening to nothing but Gap Band, Switch, Isacc Hayes, James Brown, conFunkshun, etc. I love 70s soul, but I really am an 80s baby!
