Yeah but you wouldn't need such a thing if your operating system was half decent. Microsoft is just using ReadyBoost to workaround peoples' slowness problems, instead of actually fixing the problem (Vista's inefficiency).

tell me more about this inefficiency. I'm not sure I've felt it or noticed it yet. I actually find it faster than XP on my two boxes! The only thing is that I'm running Vista64 so mayb vista64 vs XP32 is not a great comparision.

What I do when I first get a computer is to put a Linux liveCD in the bitch, and dd the hard disk to another computer in the house, then restore from that, regardless if I will put Gentoo on it or not. Love Gentoo. :

more like apple laptops wake up 94% the time sometimes when i open up my macbook, the system messes up everything i click nothing works, so when i try closing and opening again the screen stil stays backlit

The FUD (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) words said about Vista as being bloated and other words are the same being said about WinXP when it was first released. Politicians use FUD all the time, especially Republicans and FOX News.
I'm not going to say Vista doesn't have issues, because it does, but it is better off than a year ago.

lawl, sif buy a premade comp, get the parts, put it together yourself, get a craked version of windows (pure windows comes with no trail bullshit) and get some cracked ms office software, and you're good to go. Also, who the fuck uses anti-virus software, thats for idiots who dont know how to use a computer, and download viruses by the dozen. I have never picked up a virus in all my time using windows, cause i know how to use a comp. quit sucking off apples cock and grow some balls of your own
